I recently used Greenwells to have 2 trees removed from my garden. The work was done in less than 3 hours and there was no mess left afterwards. I was very impressed with the professional service and will definitely be using the company again.

Stuart is always very punctual, polite and personable. I have used the firm several times and never been disappointed by the standard of work carried out. Tree was removed without fuss and minimum of inconvenience. Site was left very tidy with all materials removed.

Stuart, Thank you for some excellent work today. Two oaks were lifted, a huge poplar and an ash were substantially crown reduced, and a sycamore shaped. All the work was carried out in a day, the site was left very clean and tidy, the wood chipped and taken away except for leaving some logs neatly stacked for our woodburner. You have done some hedging work for me in the past and, after today, I will certainly not hesitate to use you again in the future.

Stuart did a fantastic job raising the branch canopy on the sequoia/redwood in front of our house as well as felling two trees by the drive entrance. Stuart’s approach to the job, both in advance and on site, was highly professional. He and his team demonstrated real skill in the way they felled trees in tight spaces where there was little space for the trunks to fall and in scaling the redwood to remove the lower hanging branches. Our garden was cleared and left in good order once the work was completed. His pricing is competitive and to cap it all off he is a thoroughly nice person to deal with and have around your home for a couple of days. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Two men worked solidly for nine hours without a break to complete the work entirely to my satisfaction. Very polite, accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Considering the amount of cutting back of large trees etc, the site was left exactly as they found it with no damage to a considerable number of existing plants. Well done!

Having recently moved to the area, I was apprehensive about arranging the removal of a large conifer at the front of my property within a conservation area. Stuart from Greenwells Tree Surgeons liased with the council and arranged all the necessary permissions required on my behalf. From my initial email enquiry to completion of the work, Stuart has always been available for advice, with his friendly and approachable manner, and this was one of the key reasons for me choosing him over other local tree surgeons. I (and the neighbours) are extremely pleased with the work carried out by Stuart and Fred from Greenwells Tree Surgeons involving the reduction of two trees, both very near a row of cottages and a busy high street. The work was carried out safely and efficiently and the area was tidier than when they started! 10 out of 10 on all counts, from price to quality of work, I will definitely recommend and use again.

This is the second job that Stuart and his team have done for me. He turned up early on the agreed date and completed the job within the anticipated time frame. The view from my house is much improved following the felling of the trees and Stuart also ensured that the cut wood was tidily stacked. Would highly recommend.

Great job, can't fault anything. Stuart was very accommodating in changing the agreed date so that I could be home. A very quick and professional job. Everything was cleared and even chopped us pieces of wood for next winter's fire and at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend.

Three men worked extremely well together and caused the least of disruption to the garden. They cleared up all fallen branches and leaves and took them away, leaving the lawn completely clear. It took them half a day.
